| Kay Miller | I am asking that we embrace a new member to New Life and a long time family friend of mine in prayer. Ryan, Breanna, Aubree, Rylee and Madi Meyers are now attending New Life. Ryan and Breanna are mom and dad to the 3 girls. Madi is 4 years old, and has brain cancer. She was in Colorado at Children's hospital where she did first round of radiation. Now they have moved back here. Madi will be meeting with her new care team and Dr's at Iowa City on Nov 7th, then again on Nov 16th to see what the next step will be for Madi. The type of cancer Madi has, has a 22% chance of recovery. And of course this is what we are praying for and believing. Just asking for New Life to pray for and embrace this family. | Jean Troxel | My neighbor Debbie had a fire in her home last night that was started by her adult son. He has mental issues and was not taking his medicine and was to believed to be on street drugs. The fire was contained to one room, but there's smoke damage. May you pray that she gets the help she needs to clean her home to be able to move back in. | Chris Andrews | Update on my friend's grandson Sam. Sam has had a rod placed in his spine and his collar bone has been repaired. | Erin Grove | My husband, Joshua, has had some health concerns lately, including a blood clot in his spleen and enlarged lymph nodes. They did a biopsy on a lymph node last Wednesday and he is currently on his way to find out the results. | Michelle Ross | Praise and thank you for praying for my step dad Bill. He continues in hospice but has come through some anxiety and depression that was making things difficult. He stopped treatment of multiple myeloma in June. My mom has good support but is the main caregiver and the cancer is slow acting. Update for my niece Constance. She is now expecting their 2nd baby and ultra sounds detect none of the heart and lung conditions that big sister Lucy battled till the day she was born and then passed away. This is a praise for her and her husband Maxim. Thank you for praying during this month where infant loss awareness is raised. We have many experiencing this in NLC.
