NewLife Love Week Prayer Requests

Asking the Lord for excitement and joy that comes from serving together in His name for NewLife family
Asking for Divine appointments for our people in the community. That Jesus name would be lifted high and people may come to know Him through our actions of serving and love
That east side DSM area and beyond would be embraced by the life-changing grace & truth of Jesus through NewLife people
That the Enemy would be bound and kept from interfering with Jesus’ work through NewLife people this week and beyond

Parkridge Care Center – NewLife Team served Sunday, June 13

Praise the Lord for a great time of serving together
Praying for the residents in care there – that they would not only enjoy & be encouraged by the work done in the courtyard garden but that is would be a reminder that they are not forgotten and are loved – by God & NewLife
For wisdom, strength and joy for the staff as they care for those in need there

Blankets & Cards made Sunday, June 13

Pray that the blankets & cards made Sunday would be an encouragement and those who receive them would know that they are appreciated, valued and loved – by God & NewLife

Bake & Take cookies made & delivered Monday, June 14

Pray that those who receive the freshly made cookies & cards in our community would be encouraged and know that they are appreciated, valued and loved – by God & NewLife

Ruth Harbor House – NewLife Team serving Monday, June 14 evening

Pray for Ruth Harbor current, past, and future residents. Pray that the Lord would draw them to Himself, and they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Pray for Ruth Harbor staff as we each seek to love these ladies in each of our positions. Pray that we would always be growing and learning to better serve these ladies.
Pray for Ruth Harbor board as they grow and seek the Lord to best serve and love the ladies we serve and staff.

Hope Ministries Women & Family Center

Please pray for the Children in residence. For safety, healing and a renewed identity in Jesus.
Please pray for the Women/mothers in residence. For safety, healing, growing wisdom, to find true freedom and a renewed identity in Jesus.
Our new facility and all the plans around creating a new women’s and children’s center.
Plans for the summer and keeping our children engaged while productively filling their time.

Freedom for Youth

Please pray for the children coming to Freedom for youth and for them to be drawn to Christ and for their salvation.
Pray for safety at all of our sites.
Please pray for the camp in July. That the children will want to go and for their learning and safety.
Please pray for our workgroup time this week. We really want the workgroup to know they are needed no matter the task.

South East Polk and Surrounding Area schools

For teachers and students to be refreshed this summer and ready to start fresh this fall.
For health and safety of faculty, students and families this summer and coming school year
For wisdom and discernment of school leadership as they seek to provide opportunities for the students to learn and a pleasurable workplace for teachers to teach
That NewLife would be a helpful, encouragement in support of our schools

Operation Christmas Child

That the Word of God can be given to many new villages across the world who have not yet learned about Jesus and for those who receive the gift of the boxes to also receive the greatest gift of Jesus
For each shoebox packed to be done with deep prayer and love the child & family who receives it
For the Samaritan Purse team to be blessed financially to be able to process and send the boxes to share the gospel
